The coroner has not confirmed the cause of death…but DHEC says they are working a bacterial menengitis case in Pickens County. Those at the university say…they’re not taking any chances. An 8-year-old boy and an aunt and uncle have drowned in a swimming pool in western South Carolina. Multiple media outlets reported the adults jumped into the pool at a horse farm near Easley to try to rescue the boy Monday afternoon.
