The Cost To Keep Up With SC Small Town Costs

About two dozen towns across South Carolina are in trouble with the State Treasurer’s Office. They were supposed to turn in a record of the town spending for the year, but one mayor says the cost to do that outweighs the penalty for being late. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has more.

SC Schools Looking To PASS

South Carolina students are looking to pass a brand-new test. The Palmetto Achievement of State Standards, or PASS test, will be given Tuesday. It replaces the PACT test, or the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test. State education officials hope the new test will PASS where the PACT test failed. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has more.
