OPEC says that demand for its crude has fallen so sharply because of the world recession that it will take another four years to recover to 2008 levels.

Retail gasoline prices across Georgia jumped a penny overnight as OPEC production cutbacks sent oil prices rising.

Since last week, retail gasoline price averages in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee have dropped by 35.7, 51.2 and 39.0 cents respectively. Motorists can expect even lower prices this week.
