Athens-Clarke police are investigating a murder-suicide that started with a woman’s body found in a parked car about a mile from the University of Georgia campus.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Police have identified the eight people killed in a mobile home in the coastal Georgia city of Brunswick.

Police say an eighth victim has died from the attacks at a Georgia mobile home.

Authorities are carrying out a court-ordered euthanization of dogs believed to be part of a pack that killed a couple in northeast Georgia. By Tuesday evening, 11 dogs and 5 puppies had been taken to the Madison-Oglethorpe animal shelter as part of a round-up of dogs that might have been involved.

Authorities have identified a couple found dead along a road in rural Oglethorpe County. Authorities say the couple found dead by Jehovah’s Witnesses Saturday morning were 77-year-old Lothar Karl Schweder and his wife, 65-year-old Sherry L. Schweder.
