Flood Watch Issued Through Wednesday Evening
The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a flood watch for portions of east central Georgia and central South Carolina.
Flash Flooding A Possibility In The CSRA On Tuesday
According to the National Weather Service, Tropical Storm Ida will likely produce flooding in the north and central, and potentially a few brief weak tornadoes in the extreme southwest and south central.

Hurricane Ida Takes Aim At U.S. Gulf Coast: Torrential Rain Could Be Headed To CSRA
Residents along the Gulf Coast are bracing for the first Atlantic hurricane to target the United States this year. Hurricane Ida is slowly moving toward the region with 105 mph winds, bringing the threat of flooding and storm surges. There could also be as much as 8 inches of rainfall in the CSRA in the next couple of days.

Forecasters Warn Of Rip Currents, Swells Off SC Due To Hurricane Bill
The National Weather Service is warning people to stay out of the water along South Carolina’s north coast because of high surf and rip currents. The National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C., says there is a high risk of rip currents along the Grand Strand because of the new moon and Hurricane Bill. There also is a risk of some beach erosion.
