UPDATED: Local and State Law Enforcement Searching for Burglary Suspects in McDuffie County
After hours of searching by ground and air the perimeter around Old Washington Road has been dismantled. Officers with the McDuffie County Sheriffs Office, the Thomson Police Department, the Columbia County Sheriffs Office, the Warren County Sheriffs Office and the Georgia State Patrol spent Tuesday night into earily Wednesday morning searching for at least 2 burglary suspects.

Murder Suspect Turns Himself In
Richmond County investigators finally have a murder suspect in custody.16-year old Cornelius Moore turned himself in Monday morning. He was wanted in the shooting death of 23-year-old Jezreel Hammond.

Day Two in Search for Murder Suspect
The WJBF News Channel 6 Crime Tracker covers Day 2 of a massive manhunt for a teenage murder suspect. Richmond County Investigators were able to arrest one teenager, but another is still on the run. 16 year old Cornelius Moore is the teenager wanted in Augusta’s latest homicide and investigators are following some new leads that may help them find Moore. UPDATED: Richmond County Home Invasion Murder Suspect Sought
Richmond County investgators are still looking for a murder suspect. Investigators spent the entire day looking for a teenager accused of killing a man during a home invasion, last week. Tuesday, 16-year-old Ian Bonner was arrested in connection to the murder, on the 2800 block of Royal Street. WJBF News Channel 6’s Fraendy Clervaud has the latest on the manhunt.
UPDATED: Richmond County Manhunt Continues, One Teen Arrested
A suspect being sought for last week’s deadly home invasion, in which 23-year-old Jezreel Hammond, was killed. A suspect in that case was spotted in a neighborhood, Tuesday morning, near Pendleton King Park. A manhunt was launched on the 2000 block of Shirley Avenue…the perimeter was later expanded to an Augusta housing project…Cherry Tree Crossing.
