UPDATED: Kentucky Murder Suspects Arrested In Aiken

Aiken authorities have arrested two suspects in a Kentucky murder case…Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigators say Dustin Lee Mackie and Angela Mackie were pulled over by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Thursday night, in Aiken County. The Paducah Police Department has also sent us a press release on the arrest of the Mackies, and the murder they are wanted for.

Mayfield Recalls Possibly Contaminated Ice Cream

Mayfield Dairy Farms has announced it is recalling containers of its Mayfield Homemade Vanilla Select Ice Cream because of possible ammonia contamination. The Birmingham-based company said the voluntary recall is for 1.5-quart containers of the ice cream. Ammonia contamination can cause headache, nausea, vomiting and irritation of the throat.

Kentucky Mom Charged In Fire That Killed Her 2 Children

A federal grand jury has charged a soldier’s wife with setting fire to her home on a Kentucky Army base that killed her two children. The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that 35-year-old Billi Jo Smallwood of Brunswick, Ga., is also charged with attempting to destroy a residential facility for members of the U.S. Army that caused the death of two minors.
