UPDATED: Second Suspect Arrested In Richmond County Home Invasion

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a home invasion suspect. Ahijah Murray, 19, has been charged with one count each of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary and Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle. Murray is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail. UPDATE: Jonathan Cornelius Glenn, 28, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to the home invasion.

UPDATED: 4th Suspect Arrested In String Of Richmond County Robberies

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a series of robberies and carjackings, which investigators believe are connected. Wednesday, at about 1:00 p.m., investigators located a white pickup truck that they believed was involved in the series of robberies. At about 3:30 p.m., investigators stopped the truck and took three men into custody. The arrested suspects are identified as: Martin Salance Harvey, 21; Tevin Demarcus Bell, 17; Kavuan Bernard Moore, 20. The wanted suspect is identified as Mica Rochelle Gray, 19. UPDATE: Mica Gray was arrested at Savannah Suites Motel, on Wrightsboro Road, on Octobr 15th at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Richmond County Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in a Friday morning bank robbery at the Fifth Third Bank branch located at 2756 Peach Orchard Road. The suspect is identified as 23-year-old Jeremiah Williamson.

Man Dies While Breaking Into Building In Richmond County

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, Tuesday morning, at about 8:44 a.m., the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a deceased person call on the 1900 block of Kissingbower Road. Upon arrival, officers located the body of 56-year-old Henry Lee Smith deceased in the backyard of the residence.

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting death that occurred at a Gordon Highway Circle K station last Thursday (Sept. 10). The suspect is identified as 23-year-old Joseph Andrew Thomas.

UPDATED: Reward Offered In Augusta Murder

An Augusta mother is searching for answers after her only son is shot and killed. It all happened Monday night at the Salem Arms Apartments along the 2000 block of Rosier Road. In the meantime, Richmond County Investigators are still looking for the shooter. Count on our Fraendy Clervaud. He has the story. WJBF News Channel 6 has learned that a man was shot and killed Monday night at Salem Arms Apartments. Darryl Walden had been shot in the chest and died from his injuries Tuesday morning.

Man Arrested For Friday Night Murder In Augusta

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, at 9:03 p.m., Friday evening, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting call at 265 Deerfield Lane. Joseph Dominic Hoehn, 41, is under arrest after investigators say he shot and killed 38-year-old Robert Cary Congleton.

Authorities in Richmond County are investigating a shooting. We know at least one person was wounded in the incident. The shooting happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night at the East Augusta Commons apartments, on East Boundary Street.

Augusta Investigates 13th Murder Of 2009

Saturday morning, iInvestigators were called out to a local hotel and found the body of Gary Gregory. The East Taylor Street resident had been shot in the head. Further investigation led to the arrest of Nathanial Smith. Smith is charged with murder. A motive has not yet been determined.
