Judge Says No To “I Believe” License Plates; SC Group Says It Will Issue A Version
One of the people who sued to stop the state from issuing the “I Believe” Christian license plate says he has no problem with a private group going through the process to get the DMV to make the plates. A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that the plates were unconstitutional because they were created by the state legislature, which meant the state was endorsing one religion. Now, the Palmetto Family Council has announced plans to have them produced. WJBF News Channel 6’s SC Capitol reporter, Robert Kittle, has more.

New York Files Antitrust Suit Against Computer Chip Maker Intel
New York’s attorney general has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Intel Corp., claiming the company used “illegal threats and collusion” to dominate the marketplace for computer microprocessors.

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster says the state has reached a $45 million settlement with drug maker Eli Lilly & Co. over the company’s marketing of an anti-psychotic drug.

Georgia Board Of Regents Suing MCG Foundation
The Georgia Board of Regents has filed a lawsuit against a private foundation for continuing to use the Medical College of Georgia’s name more than a year after the campus severed ties with the organization. The lawsuit filed Tuesday in Richmond County Superior Court demands that the Medical College of Georgia Foundation, Inc. stop using its moniker immediately and cease collecting donations on behalf of the state’s only public medical school. The Augusta-based medical school split from its $152 million foundation in June 2008 after years of feuding between the two institutions.

TLC Network Says It Is Suing Jon Gosselin
The TLC network says it’s suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8.“ The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that Gosselin hasn’t met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.

Woman Kicked Off Plane For Breast Feeding Sues
A New Mexico woman kicked off an airplane at the Burlington International Airport three years ago for breast feeding her baby is suing Delta Air Lines. The Burlington Free Press says negotiations failed to reach a settlement between the Atlanta-based airline and Emily Gillette.

An Ellenwood man has been awarded more than $9 million by a DeKalb County jury after suffering permanent scarring to his genitals following treatments for erectile dysfunction.

SC Company Sues In Horse Carriage Dispute
A South Carolina carriage company fined after pleading guilty to violating Charleston city regulations on maintaining horses is suing a woman who was supposed to care for the animals. The Post and Courier of Charleston reports the suit was filed last week by Carolina Polo and Carriage Co. against Nancy Lane.
Goodyear Wants SC Learjet Lawsuit In Federal Court
A company being sued over the fatal South Carolina Learjet crash that killed four and injured two celebrities has filed an appeal requesting the case be handled in federal court. Attorneys for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. made the request in documents filed Wednesday.
