WJBF Ryan Clark Tribute Now Online
WJBF News Channel 6 will air a special tribute on Monday, September 7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. We aired a tribute on Labor Day to Ryan Clark, a CSRA native, and Lakeside High School graduate, who was one of the 33 that died in the tragedy at Virginia Tech, that happened in April of 2007. That video is now online.

WJBF News Channel 6 aired a tribute on Labor Day to Ryan Clark, a CSRA native, and Lakeside High School graduate, who was one of the 33 that died in the tragedy at Virginia Tech, that happened in April of 2007. The video consists of the Lakeside High School band, Evans High School band, and the Virginia Tech Marching Virginians from the halftime show of the Evans-Lakeside football game that took place on September 4th. We now have that video online, split into two parts.

Senate To Vote On $2 Billion “Cash For Clunkers” Extension
The Senate is expected to add $2 billion to the “cash-for-clunkers” program Thursday, after considering some changes that are not likely to be approved. Majority Leader Harry Reid says a “significant majority” wants to move forward with the legislation, which would keep the program going until Labor Day.
