A bank robbery in Aiken County Wednesday afternoon, ended with a standoff, shots fired, and one suspect dead. It all started in Jackson, South Carolina. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the story. Investigators say one bank robbery suspect has been shot and another is still on the loose, in Jackson, SC. Aiken County Sheriff’s Investigators tell WJBF News Channel 6 that shortly before noon, three men robbed the First Citizens Bank, on Atomic Road, in Jackson, SC. Jackson police responded to the robbery and a chase ensued. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe reports that the third suspect sought in the Jackson, SC bank robbery has been arrested after a standoff with police at a house in Beech Island, SC with an AK-47. Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton tells us the suspect who was shot by police near Kimberly-Clark has died. We will add more information on this developing story as it develops.
