Aiken County Men Sought for Multiple Burglaries

According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office holds warrants for the arrest of two Aiken County men, who committed Burglary, Grand Larceny and Kidnapping. The men are identified as 24-year-old Kelvin Addison, and 26-year-old Marquis Cummings.

UPDATED: Third Suspect Arrested In Aiken Burger King Robbery

According to Lt. David Turno, Aiken Department of Public Safety Officers responded to an armed robbery about 12:45 p.m., on Saturday, at the Burger King, located on York Street, in Aiken. UPDATE: The fatality from the Burger King robbery has been identified as Richard Lee Simmons, 24, of Columbia, SC. UPDATE: Investigators have charged both Robert Mills, Jr. and Sean Mark Rodriguez with one count of Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, one count of Robbery while Armed with a Deadly Weapon and 16 counts of Kidnapping. Both are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center. UPDATE: Toryast Jermaine Johnson, 28, of Columbia, SC has been arrested in connection to the robbery.

UPDATED: Second Suspect Arrested In Richmond County Home Invasion

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a home invasion suspect. Ahijah Murray, 19, has been charged with one count each of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary and Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle. Murray is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail. UPDATE: Jonathan Cornelius Glenn, 28, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to the home invasion.

UPDATED: 4th Suspect Arrested In String Of Richmond County Robberies

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a series of robberies and carjackings, which investigators believe are connected. Wednesday, at about 1:00 p.m., investigators located a white pickup truck that they believed was involved in the series of robberies. At about 3:30 p.m., investigators stopped the truck and took three men into custody. The arrested suspects are identified as: Martin Salance Harvey, 21; Tevin Demarcus Bell, 17; Kavuan Bernard Moore, 20. The wanted suspect is identified as Mica Rochelle Gray, 19. UPDATE: Mica Gray was arrested at Savannah Suites Motel, on Wrightsboro Road, on Octobr 15th at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Aiken County Top 10 Most Wanted Suspect Turns Himself In

Early Wednesday afternoon, an Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) top ten most wanted subject wanted for Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature, and Kidnapping, turned himself in to ACSO investigators. Carlos Antonio Allen, 32, of the 2100 block of Sassafras Road, in Aiken, is charged with Kidnapping, and Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature.

UPDATED: Richmond County Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking 42-year-old Melvin Germany on charges of Kidnapping, Rape, and Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle. The aforementioned charges are related to domestic violence which involves a former live-in girlfriend. All incidents occurred on or between the dates of September 17th and September 21st. UPDATE: Germany was located and arrested thursday morning, in Augusta.

UPDATED: Second Suspect Arrested In Aiken Murder

Officers in Aiken are trying to solve their first murder case in nearly two years. Tuesday night, a man was shot to death near downtown Aiken. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the details. UPDATE: According to Sgt. Aaron Dowdy, the Aiken Department of Public Safety has arrested 20-year-old Freddie L. Simpkins for the murder of Donald McCalla. UPDATE: According to Sgt. Aaron Dowdy, a third suspect, Jeremy Holloway is still wanted in the murder. UPDATE: Jeremy Holloway turned himself into the Aiken Department of Public Safety around 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Taliban’s Web site says that it has captured a missing U.S. soldier American authorities had earlier said may have been kidnapped. The Web site said Monday that the Taliban had “arrested a drunken American soldier” five days ago.
