A big donation is heading to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center. The band members of Blink-182 announced on their website that they’ll donate $100,000 of the proceeds from the band’s Saturday show in Phoenix to the burn center.

GA Woman Set On Fire Prepares For More Surgery
Doctors are preparing a 42-year-old woman who was doused with kerosene and set on fire for skin grafts. Elisa Davenport’s brother says surgeons at the Doctors Hospital of Augusta worked Thursday to prepare her for the skin grafts. He says she is in an induced coma.

New Doctors Hospital Patient Tower Is First Part Of Expansion Project
In an e-mail to WJBF News Channel 6, Doctors Hospital of Augusta, a 354-bed acute care facility with a nationally recognized burn center, celebrated, on Thursday, completion of its new three-story South Tower with a ribbon cutting ceremony and tours for the public. The new tower will officially open on Monday, August 10.

UPDATED: Two Children Killed, Two Airlifted To Augusta After Fire
Two children are dead and two more are hospitalized in Augusta after a house fire in Greenwood County, South Carolina. Greenwood County officials identified the victims as 3-year old Arian Makins and 4-year old Alisha Makins. They were pronounced dead at the scene. UPDATE: The two children and their mother are still in critical condition at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, at Doctors Hospital.

Grovetown Man Dies From Fire Injuries
A Grovetown man who was critically injured in a weekend fire at a personal care home has died. Robert Everett, 44, was taken to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, but he never recovered.

Blood Still Needed: One Year After Sugar Refinery Blast
It has been one year since the Imperial Sugar refinery blast, in Savannah. Many of the people injured in the explosion were treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, at Doctors Hospital, in Augusta. It’s a place that depends on local blood donations, and Saturday there was a special effort to recruit new donors. UPDATED: Ambulance Crash Kills Burn Patient
One person is dead after an ambulance wreck in Lexington County today. A spokeswoman for the Joseph M. Still Burn Center says an independent ambulance service was transporting a patient from the burn center to a hospital in North Carolina when the vehicle crashed.
