An Aiken County murder suspect, who walked out of a hospital, Sunday night, walked back in…early Tuesday morning. Investigators say Terrance Riley was recovering at MCG after being shot during a home invasion. He left, and now he’s back…and this time, he’s guarded. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the story.

The search for a missing murder suspect is over. Authorities say 40-year-old Terrance Riley returned to the Medical College of Georgia hospital around 2:00 a.m., Tuesday morning.

The search for a suspect in a murder case continues. The suspect reportedly used a cigarette break to make a break for freedom. It started with a home invasion in Ridge Spring, South Carolina last week. Investigators say 40-year-old Terrance Riley is one of four men involved in the death of Jerry Tyler. Tyler was killed during the home invasion, and investigators say one of the other suspects accidentally shot Riley. And, ever since the invasion, Riley has been in the hospital, until this weekend. Aiken County Investigators have four men in custody in connection with the death of a Ridge Spring, SC man. Deputies believe that a father and his son were involved in the killing of 34-year-old Jerry Tyler. But, authorities say this group could face two murder charges. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe explains.

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, 34-year-old Jerry Tyler, of Ridge Spring, SC was pronounced dead at his 1301 Whispering Pines residence, Friday morning.
