UPDATED: Second Suspect Arrested In Richmond County Home Invasion

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a home invasion suspect. Ahijah Murray, 19, has been charged with one count each of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary and Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle. Murray is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail. UPDATE: Jonathan Cornelius Glenn, 28, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to the home invasion.

Augusta Man To Spend Rest Of Life In Prison For Deadly Columbia County Home Invasion

An Augusta man will spend the rest of his life in prison plus 45 years for a deadly home invasion. A Columbia County jury found 20-year-old Patrick Antwon Booker guilty of numerous charges including burglary, armed robbery, and kidnapping…but they found him not guilty of murder.

Aiken Man Arrested For Home Invasion, Armed Robbery

According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) arrested an Aiken man regarding a residential burglary that occurred early this morning in Aiken, South Carolina. James Eric Williams, 24, of the 2900 block of Abbeville Avenue, in Aiken, is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.

Hephzibah Home Invasion Turns Deadly

One man is behind bars after Richmond County Investigators say he’s a prime suspect in a home invasion turned deadly. It all happened Wednesday night along the 2200 block of Plantation Road, in South Augusta. WJBF News Channel 6’s Fraendy Clervaud has more.

UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Augusta Home Invasion

Kelvin Steffor Johnson was arrested without incident, around 7:30 a.m., Thursday morning, according to the Augusta Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred on the 2300 block of Boykin Road He was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Martha Greene, Wednesday night.

GA Woman Shot, Toddler Son Beaten

Police say a woman was shot and her 1-year-old son beaten during a home invasion in south Fulton County. Chattahoochee Hills police Chief Damon Jones says 22-year-old Nikki Neely was shot in the head during the attack just before 9 p.m. Monday. WSB radio reported that one person was in custody.

Aiken County Murder Suspect Walks Out…Comes Back to MCG

An Aiken County murder suspect, who walked out of a hospital, Sunday night, walked back in…early Tuesday morning. Investigators say Terrance Riley was recovering at MCG after being shot during a home invasion. He left, and now he’s back…and this time, he’s guarded. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the story.

UPDATED: Suspect In Deadly SC Home Invasion Escapes Hospital

The search for a suspect in a murder case continues. The suspect reportedly used a cigarette break to make a break for freedom. It started with a home invasion in Ridge Spring, South Carolina last week. Investigators say 40-year-old Terrance Riley is one of four men involved in the death of Jerry Tyler. Tyler was killed during the home invasion, and investigators say one of the other suspects accidentally shot Riley. And, ever since the invasion, Riley has been in the hospital, until this weekend. That’s where WJBF News channel 6’s Barclay Bishop picks up the story.

Aiken County Investigators have four men in custody in connection with the death of a Ridge Spring, SC man. Deputies believe that a father and his son were involved in the killing of 34-year-old Jerry Tyler. But, authorities say this group could face two murder charges.
