Aiken County Woman Pleads Guilty To Hiring Hitman To Kill Husband

An Aiken County woman has pleaded guilty to hiring a hitman to kill her husband. Tuesday, 42-year-old Judy Dickson, of Salley, South Carolina, admitted in court that she agreed to pay $10,000 to have the home of her estranged husband burned down. The man she tried to hire alerted the FBI.

GA ‘Crown Royal Bandit’ Pleads Guilty

The so-called “Crown Royal Bandit” has pleaded guilty in federal court to armed robbery and weapons charges. Bruce Allen Hughes appeared in a Gainesville court Friday morning. The 48-year-old was expected to plead guilty in January to committing a series of robberies in Georgia and Tennessee over an 11-year-period but changed his mind at the last minute.
