A prosecutor says he will seek the death penalty for a 22-year-old man charged with killing his father and 7 others inside the family’s mobile home in coastal Georgia. A Glynn County grand jury indicted Guy Heinze Jr. on Monday on eight counts of murder.

Ga. man arrested for assaulting 2 boys with hammer

Authorities say a 50-year-old Brunswick man has been arrested for attacking two boys with a hammer, golf club and metal pipe, sending one child to the hospital.  Darryl Barnamon is in the Glynn County jail on charges of cruelty to children, aggravated battery and assault and possession
of a weapon in a school zone following the Feb. 11 incident.
