Farrah Fawcett Remembered At LA Funeral

The life of “Charlie’s Angels” star Farrah Fawcett was celebrated at a private funeral in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday. Her longtime companion, Ryan O’Neal, was among pallbearers who accompanied the casket, covered in yellow and orange flowers, into the Roman Catholic cathedral Tuesday afternoon.

Funeral Set For Georgia Boy Killed In Shooting

Funeral plans for a 6-year-old who police say was killed by his grandfather have been set. Family and friends will gather at Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville on Thursday at 2 p.m. to bury Michael Levigne. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

SC Soldier Dies 18 Months After Bomb Injury

A South Carolina soldier who died from a seizure caused by a brain injury suffered caused 18 months ago by a roadside bomb in Iraq has been laid to rest. The Anderson Independent-Mail reports that 25-year-old U.S. Army Spc. Justin Antisdel was given a funeral Sunday with full military honors.

Georgia Funeral Service Planned For Peace Corps Worker

Services are planned Saturday for a Peace Corps worker from Georgia who was found dead in the west African nation of Benin. The service for 24-year-old Catherine “Kate” Puzey of Cumming is scheduled for noon Saturday in Alpharetta at The Sanctuary at Birmingham United Methodist Church.

John Travolta Plans Private Memorial For Son In Florida

John Travolta and his family were expected to host a private memorial service Thursday for their son, 16-year-old Jett Travolta, at their home in a central Florida gated community. The actor and his wife, Kelly Preston, live in a sprawling $8 million home in a luxury subdivision with its own airstrip near this small town. Jett died at the family vacation home in Grand Bahama last week.
