Missing Grovetown Teen Located

A missing Grovetown, GA teenager has been located. Teoshma Youmans, 15, had been missing since November 10, 2009. She was last seen at her residence.

North Augusta Public Safety Officers have found a missing 10-year-old boy on Friday morning who was reported missing Thursday night. Tyson Avery Curry was found at his father’s house.

UPDATED: Beech Island Man’s Death Ruled A Homicide

According to Sgt. Dave Myers, a body that SCE&G Beech Island Power Plant employees discovered Wednesday afternoon in the Savannah River, has been identified as 52-year-old Gregory Brabham of Beech Island, S.C. Brabham’s death is being considered a homicide investigation, and is being investigated as such by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. UPDATE: According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, the autopsy of Gregory Brabham has revealed that his death is a homicide. The cause of death will be revealed at a later date, as investigators say releasing the cause of death may hinder the investigation into Brabham’s death.

Body Found In Savannah River In Aiken County

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, a body was found floating in the Savannah River near Beech Island, SC around noon on Wednesday. The body has been identified as 52-year-old Gregory Brabham, of Beech Island SC. Carlton says circumstances surrounding the discovery of Brabham’s body appear suspicious. Autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning in Newberry, SC.

Conway, SC Missing Baby Found Safe In Plastic Bag, Police Arrest Suspect

Police in Conway, SC say a missing two-week-old baby boy was found safe, Tuesday afternoon. Public Information office Catina Hipp says one woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and another person is being questioned.

UPDATED: Autopsy Results Returned After Body Found In Warrenville, SC

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, the body of a 54-year-old white male was discovered near Warrenville, SC on Friday morning. UPDATE: Autopsy has revealed that Phillip Pennington died of natural causes. An enlarged heart and atherosclerosis were cited as the primary causes. Toxicology results will be available in about two weeks.

Missing College Softball Players Found Dead

Three college softball players found dead after their sport utility vehicle went into a pond on a North Dakota farm during a stargazing trip likely drove straight into the water in the dark, authorities said Wednesday. Stark County Sheriff Clarence Tuhy said the women’s SUV was found resting on its wheels Tuesday in about 10 feet of water hidden by tall grass, with the doors and windows closed.

Florida Mother Vows To Find Daughter’s Killer

Florida police still have no suspects in the murder of a little girl, but they are making progess in the case of Somer Thompson. Friday, her distraught mother vowed her daughter’s killer will not get away with the crime. ABC News’ Matt Gutman has more in today’s big story.

No Sex Offenders Are Suspects In Florida Girl’s Death

Investigators have finished talking to all the registered sex offenders living within a 5-mile radius of Somer Thompson’s house, though none of them is considered a suspect in the girl’s death. Clay County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mary Justino also said Friday that no witnesses have come forward to say they saw the 7-year-old attacked or abducted.

UPDATED: Death Of Florida Girl Found In Landfill Ruled A Homicide

An autopsy will be performed on the body of Somer Thompson, the little Florida girl who disappeared Monday on her way home from school. The search for her ended Wednesday in a public landfill in Georgia, where her remains were recovered. The FBI is now at the scene, and police are asking for help from the public in finding her killer. ABC News’ Matt Gutman has the details. UPDATE: Somer Thompson’s death ahs now been ruled a homicide.

UPDATED: Woman’s Body Found In Thomson, Georgia

A woman’s body has been found in Thomson, Georgia at the intersection of White Oak Road and Lincoln Drive. That’s in McDuffie County. Someone walking to work spotted the body, Wednesday morning, and called the GBI and McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office. The body, which was found in a ditch, is identified as Vicki Lynn Gunby. UPDATE: At this time, investigators do not believe Gunby died as a result of foul play.

UPDATED: Identification Made On Body Found In Augusta

WJBF News Channel 6 has received reports that a body has been found. We have been told that the body has been found on Riverfront Drive, near the boathouse. We have a crew en route, and will have more information as it becomes available. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating this discovery as a homicide.

‘Big Boy’ The Alligator Not Dead…After All

According to our news partner, WGAC News 580 AM, the alligator that stirred much discussion in the CSRA has been found alive. You may remember we reported, earlier this week, that poachers had mutilitated the alligator, named ‘Big Boy’, in a pond behind Brown Feed and Seed, in Evans, GA. As it turns out, the remains were from another alligator that was killed, and ‘Big Boy’ surfaced Friday morning, alive and well.

According to Aiken County Corner Tim Carlton, bones found in North Augusta, SC back in November of 2007 have been positively identified as 51-year-old John W. Gustafson, of Augusta, GA. WJBF News channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has more.
