A football team showing support for one of its own. That’s because their fellow player is off the team, and out of school after admitting to having a rifle, on campus, in his SUV.  Thursday we ran the story on Wes Ivie.  The amount of reaction we got from our viewers is the same that the Columbia County Board of Education has been dealing with all day.  The county carries a heavy zero tolerance policy, but should there be room for exceptions?  WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has more.

The Thomson High School football game against West Lauren has been cancelled. According to a receptionist at the school, the game will be played Saturday at 7 PM. in Dublin.
