Search Ends For 2 NFL Players, 3rd Man Lost At Sea
The families of two NFL players and a third man sent adrift in chilly seas are trying to cope with the end of the official Coast Guard search. Crews combed thousands of square miles in the Gulf of Mexico before calling off their search for Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper, free-agent defensive lineman Corey Smith and former South Florida player William Bleakley.

Lake Lanier Will Open To Fishing Tournaments This Year
After being off the tournament last year because of Georgia’s extreme drought leaving the lake level too low, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has begun accepting applications for daytime tournaments now that Lake Lanier has risen more than 5 feet above its low point in early December.

Guilty: Jury Says Williston Man Killed Local Pastor
