According to Lt. David Turno, the Aiken Department of Public Safety is investigating a shooting that occurred about 3:30 p.m., Sunday afternoon, at the H. Odell Weeks Recreation Center, on Whiskey Road, in Aiken. The shooting occurred following a fight in one of the gymnasiums inside the facility.

More than two dozen people have been arrested following a fight in a small, northern South Carolina community. The Union County sheriff’s office says 26 people were arrested late Friday in the fight in Carlisle.

Investigators say a stabbing at a local restaurant started off as a fight between two men. They say the stabbing happened at Theresa’s Mexican Restaurant on Boy Scout Road, Sunday night.
