Woman Dies In Highway 421 Accident In Aiken County

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, a 75-year-old North Augusta woman has died in an accident on Highway 421, in Aiken County. Daisy May Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car collision on Highway 421. Ingram was the unrestrained front seat passenger in a 2000 GMC Jimmy SUV driven by her granddaughter, Daphne Ingram, also of North Augusta.

Man Dies In Aiken County Accident

According to Aiken County Coroner tim Carlton, a single vehicle crash just past East Buena Vista Road, on Highway 1, in North Augusta, SC claimed the life of 35-year-old Gregory A. Maree, on Sunday.

Former Richmond County Deputy Killed In Car Wreck

A former Richmond County sheriff’s deputy found not guilty of child molestation less than three weeks ago has been killed in an automobile accident. Richmond County Deputy Coroner Johnny McDonald said 49-year-old Lindon Haworth Jr.‘s car drifted into the left hand lane and struck the side of another vehicle Sunday.

Dump Truck Driver Killed In Traffic Accident

According to Richmond County Chief Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen, a dump truck driver delivering asphalt to a construction site on the 4200 block of Mike Padgett Highway was killed when he was hit as he got out of the truck, early Thursday morning. The victim is identified as William Danes, of the 1000 block of Highway 36 East, in Jackson Georgia.

Gwinnett County Police: 1 Fatality Among 4 Shooting Victims

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a shooting at a home in Duluth that killed one person and wounded three others. Corporal Illana T. Spellman says the person who died was found at the nearby Gwinnett Place Mall. She said police believe the victim somehow managed to drive to the mall parking lot.

Aiken Mom Run Over By 13-Year-Old Son

An accident in Aiken County has left one person dead. Coroner Tim Carlton says 42-year-old Paula Phillips was pronounced dead at her home, at approximately 4:15 p.m., on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses say that Phillips’ 13-year-old son was moving a car in the family’s driveway, so he and some friends could play basketball, when he stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake, as his mother was standing in front of the vehicle guiding the son.
