Plant Closes In Sandersville: Jobs Coming To McDuffie County
There are 100 new jobs are coming to Thomson, as of July 2009, and depending on the economy, the number could grow to 150, going into 2010. Thomson Plastics will expand its operation by 50,000-square feet to accommodate the move of the production and assembly operations from the Sandersville facility, which is about an hour and a half from Augusta.
