WJBF News Channel 6 has learned that there has been a bomb threat at Midland Valley High School, Monday afternoon, according to Sgt. Dave Myers, with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

Instead of heading to class on Monday, some Benedict College students headed across Columbia to move their belongings to their new homes. Benedict had been using an old hotel as a dorm, but the county fire marshal issued an evacuation order last week, saying the building was an immediate threat to the life and safety of the students, mainly because it has no sprinkler system or working fire protection system.
