Two Suspects Arrested In North Augusta Kangaroo Express Armed Robbery

According to the the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), in coordination with the Aiken Department of Public Safety (ADPS), ACSO arrested a North Augusta man and a juvenile early Saturday morning concerning the armed robbery that occurred at 349 Edgefield Road, in North Augusta, South Carolina on June 26, 2009.

North Augusta Captain D’s Restaurant Burglary Suspects Sought

In an e-mail to WJBF News Channel 6, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety is aksing for help from the public to identify a suspect in the burglary of the North Augusta Captain D’s restaurant, located at 102 Edgefield Road. The burglary occurred on June 11th.

Edgefield County Man Arrested In North Augusta Armed Robbery

According to a release, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, arrested an Edgefield, SC man, Wednesday night, concerning the armed robbery that occurred at 1186 Edgefield Road, in North Augusta, SC, on April 15, 2009. The suspect is identified as Rickey Brunson, 52, of 68 Se Diggs Road, in Trenton, SC. Brunson is charged with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Armed Robbery.

Aiken Club Shootings Leave 4 Injured

Investigators in Aiken were busy this weekend, with two separate shootings. Officers say three people were injured at an early Saturday morning shooting at “The Spot” nightclub in North Augusta. Then, a second shooting happened at a teen club in Aiken at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. This time, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the stomach. Count on Joy Howe for the story.
