South Korea Says North Korea Fires 4 Missiles Off East Coast

South Korea says North Korea has fired a fourth missile off its eastern coast. The Joint Chiefs of Staff says three missiles were fired early Saturday and the fourth at about noon.

Official: Space Junk Likely Caused Unusual Sky Over Virginia

A federal official says space junk from a Russian rocket most likely caused residents across the Southeast to report “great balls of fire” in the night sky. Geoff Chester of the U.S. Naval Observatory, which provides a wide range of astronomical data, said Monday the brilliant, streaking lights were either space junk or a super bright meteor known as a bolide.

Mysterious Lights And Loud Boom Reported In Virginia, Similar To CSRA Event

According to WTKR-TV, in Virginia Beach, VA, callers reported a “loud boom” and flashing lights, Sunday night. Meteorologists are investigating and trying to explain widespread reports on the Eastern Seaboard of flashing lights and a noise that sounded like a loud explosion in the sky.
