Advance voting is underway and the numbers are picking up, as ballots are cast in Augusta’s sales tax election. Bill Would Limit Early Voting To 3 Days In SC
South Carolina lawmakers are considering whether voters should be allowed to cast early ballots in a three-day window before an election. Critics say fewer people will vote. Legislators on the House Judiciary Committee were debating Tuesday whether to advance the bill.

Long Voting Lines Should Help Early Voting Bill at SC Statehouse
The people standing in line for hours to vote absentee in South Carolina could end up shortening the lines for everyone in future elections. State Rep. Pair Of Augusta Leaders Vote Early For Obama
