Edgefield Man Re-Arrested After Jumping Out Of Police Car
After a three-hour manhunt, on Saturday, an Edgefield County man is now behind bars. Investigators say 34-year-old Tony Brice was arrested on suspicion of DUI, after officers found an open container of alcohol in his car. Officers say they handcuffed Brice and put in him the patrol car, but Brice kicked out the back window, and jumped out.

GA Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide in Death of 9-Year Old In Court
The man charged in a weekend car accident that killed a young boy will have to wait until Thursday to find out if he will be allowed to bond out of jail. James Malcolm Bell, 23, is charged with vehicular homicide in the first degree and driving under the influence, among other things, in the Catalina Drive accident that left 9-year-old Ashley Mosley dead, Saturday evening.

Coastal Carolina University Track Coach Suspended For DUI
A South Carolina college coach accused of drunken driving has been suspended from his job. Coastal Carolina University athletic director Warren Koegel also said Monday that head track and field coach Jeff Jacobs will not coach for the university’s first track meet of the season Sept. 4 against the University of South Carolina.

Savannah Man Charged With DUI After Lake Detour
A Savannah man has been arrested and charged with drunken driving after police say he drove a Chevrolet Impala into Lake Mayer. Chatham police spokesman Gene Harley said witnesses saw 22-year-old Christopher Byron Simmons steer the car off the road, down a boat ramp and into the water around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
