8-Year-Old Boy, 2 Adult Relatives Drown In SC Pool
An 8-year-old boy and an aunt and uncle have drowned in a swimming pool in western South Carolina. Multiple media outlets reported the adults jumped into the pool at a horse farm near Easley to try to rescue the boy Monday afternoon.

SC Forecasters Warn Beachgoers Of Rip Currents
If you’re heading for South Carolina’s beaches, keep in mind the possibility of rip currents. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, along with the National Park Service, has designated this week as Rip Current Awareness Week.
