A person close to the deal says Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks studio has signed on with Universal Pictures to distribute its films.

Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks say they are formally separating following DreamWorks’ deal to partner with Reliance Entertainment of India.

The Ricky Gervais comedy “Ghost Town” contains a sequence toward the end that is so unexpectedly moving—even though the sequence itself is totally expected—that you hear sniffles of emotion throughout the theater.
