Authorities say four people were killed when a small plane crashed and burst into flames Wednesday shortly after departure near the South Carolina coast.

A South Carolina toddler has drowned in a goldfish pond at a family member’s home. The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Friday that 18-month-old Logan Holladay died Thursday evening at a Summerville hospital.
