Richmond County’s Barton Chapel Road area took a very hard hit from Friday night’s storms. Two people narrowly escaped their crushed home in Cherry Hill Subdivision. One woman was in the bathtub and her pregnant daughter was sleeping, when the storm went over their home, tearing the walls from the foundation.

Killer tornadoes ripped through parts of North Carolina, Saturday, killing two people and injuring dozens more. Sunday, people were going through what’s left of their belongings. Yvette Yeon has more.
