Wagener Pill Bottle Controversy Has Some Parents Concerned

A Wagener, South Carolina, parent is not happy about what her 6-year-old son brought home from school, Thursday. She says this is one “career day” activity that went too far. The boy’s mother found a prescription medicine bottle in his bookbag. At first, his mother and grandmother say they were extremely concerned. The bottle was empty, and they wondered if he’d taken something, but they say their concern only deepened, when they found out he had indeed “taken” what was in the bottle…and it was given to him at school. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has more.

SC Prison Cell Phone Jamming Demonstration Conducted

The South Carolina Department of Corrections has a new tool to fight crime from within its prison walls.  It’s a new technology called cell phone jamming. WJBF News Channel 6’s Capitol reporter, Robert Kittle, has the story.
