Dabo Swinney doesn’t appear to be shaking things up with the Clemson coaching staff heading into his first full year officially leading the team.

Clemson has made it official, hiring Alabama’s Kevin Steele as the Tigers’ defensive coordinator.

Clemson defensive coordinator Vic Koenning resigned from his position on Tuesday.  Koenning served as defensive coordinator and secondary coach for the last four seasons.

Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp has been designated head coach-in-waiting by the university, expected to take over the Longhorns when coach Mack Brown retires.
