Cobb County Man Jailed In Toddler’s Death
A 22-year-old Cobb County man has been charged with killing a toddler. Cobb County Police said 22-year-old Orlando Dyer of Austell was taken into custody Thursday. Police said paramedics were called to an apartment complex and found a 22-month-old girl not breathing and bleeding.
SC Man Dies After Meth Lab Explodes
Newberry County deputies say a man has been killed after his methamphetamine lab exploded and caught a home on fire. The coroner’s office says 34-year-old Reggie Braswell died from a head injury suffered in the blast just before midnight Sunday.

Man Gets 25 Years For Lying About SC Cabbie Death
A 28-year-old father of four who admitted he drove the getaway car that was supposed to be used in the robbery of a taxi driver has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for lying about the cabbie’s death.

UPDATED: Suspicious Death Investigated In Beech Island
According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), in cooperation with the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, is investigating the suspicious death of a woman behind a home on Wesley Drive, in Beech Island, South Carolina. The victim is identified as 28-year-old Andrea M. Bozarth, of 111 Wesley Drive.

One Person Dead In Thursday Night Accident On I-20
According to Richmond County’ Chief Deputy Coroner, Mark Bowen, one person is dead after an overnight accident on I-20, at mile marker 201, in Augusta. The accident occurred around 1:19 a.m., Thursday night.

Tributes Pour In After Arkansas TV Anchor’s Death
A makeshift memorial of flowers, candles and teddy bears lies near a tree outside the Arkansas home where a TV anchorwoman was found brutally beaten last Monday. At the same time, tributes are pouring into the Web site of the Little Rock station where her colleagues are mourning her death. Anne Pressly, a 26-year-old anchor for KATV, died Saturday night in a hospital.

Worker Dies On Last Day At SC State Fair
An attraction worker at the South Carolina State Fair was killed on the final day of the event when he was struck by the ride. The State newspaper reported that Jeff Doucleff was killed Sunday afternoon when the Inverter hit him.

Augusta Man Killed in Afternoon Shooting
A shooting on 2nd Avenue in Augusta has left one man dead. Investigators tell us 20-year-old Antonio Perez Johnson, of the 2000 bock of Central Avenue, was shot once in the chest around 2:15 this afternoon. He died in the MCG Emergency Room about 25 minutes later. Investigators are looking for 19-year-old Darrion Antwonn Williams for questioning.

Macon Police Arrest 1 Suspect In Attempted Killing
Police have arrested one suspect in the kidnapping and attempted killing of a 26-year-old man. Marietta Police say 30-year-old Naeem Omar Milligan is in the Cobb County jail on $75,000 bond. He was arrested Saturday for the Oct. 8 incident that left Calvin Creamer of Rome in critical condition.

UPDATED: Victim In Deadly I-20 Crash In Aiken County Identified
Traffic is moving again on I-20, in Aiken County…The westbound lanes between mile markers 6 and 7 were shut down around 9:00 p.m., Wednesday night, and remained closed for 10 hours, after a deadly three vehicle accident. The Aiken County Coroner, Tim Carlton, has identified the victim as Jose Hector Gonzales-Hernandez, 31, of North Charleston, SC.

UPDATED: Vehicle Identified In Deadly Augusta Hit And Run, Suspect Arrested
Richmond County investigators are searching for a vehicle in a deadly hit and run that occurred on Gordon Highway, Monday night, around 7:30 p.m. The vehicle is described as a 2000-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, unknown color, with front-end damage, including the right side.
