Horry County Residents React To News Of Edited Wildfire Tapes
Residents in the Barefoot Resort area of Horry County may not have gotten all the information about last month’s wildfires from 911 calls, that may have been edited.

Aiken County Sheriff, Former Deputy Sued
A New Ellenton man is suing the Aiken County Sheriff and a former deputy. Back in September, dash cam video caught Jeffrey Nation striking a teen in the throat. That teen is striking back with a lawsuit. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the story.

A lawsuit has been filed against the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff himself, and a former deputy. Back in September, dash cam video from Jeffery Nation’s patrol car caught him striking a New Ellenton teenager in the throat. Nation was fired from the Sheriff’s Office, shortly after the incident. Now, the teenager is firing back, suing for personal injury. We have the full video online. Foul language is the only items edited on this video.

Full Offensive Deputy Dash Cam Video
Many of you saw our coverage last week of former Richmond County Sheriff’s Deputy Wesley Powell’s offensive dash cam video. The video was over 13 minutes of profanity, racial slurs, and sexual conversations on his cell phone. We now have the entire video online. We have gone through the video and have bleeped over the offensive words. We warn you that the content is sexually suggestive, and may still be offensive to some.

Offensive Patrol Car Recording Released
Wesley Powell resigned after authorities say he used profanity, sexual comments and racial slurs during a cell phone conversation that was recorded by video equipment in his patrol car on July 2nd.
