Evangelist Gets 175 Years For Sex Convictions
Evangelist Tony Alamo has been sentenced to 175 years in federal prison for taking underage girls across state lines for sex. Alamo was sentenced Friday in Texarkana, Arkansas.

SC Board Pardons Relatives of Tom Joyner; Executed in 1915
South Carolina’s Parole and Pardons board unanimously pardoned two great-uncles of national radio host Tom Joyner Wednesday. Thomas and Meeks Griffin were convicted of the 1913 murder of a white farmer in Chester County. Joyner came to Columbia from Dallas to plead their case. Mark McClain Asks Nation’s Top Court For Reprieve
A Georgia death row inmate is asking the nation’s top court to halt his execution until it resolves an Alabama death penalty case he says could affect his legal challenge. Mark McClain asked the U.S. Supreme Court to delay the execution because a ruling in the other case could “alter the legal prism” through which his case is viewed.

Convicted Richmond County Sex Offender Sought
According to Investigator Charles Mulherin, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is looking for an absconded sex offender. While on a surprise address verification, investigators with the RCSO Sex Offender Unit learned that Anthony Eugene Crawford had absconded.

October 20th Execution Set For Convicted Augusta Murderer
The Georgia Department of Corrections has set Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. for the execution of a convicted Richmond County murderer. A warrant signed Thursday by a judge permits the state to execute 43-year-old Mark McClain at any time between noon Oct. 20 and noon Oct. 27 at the state prison in Jackson.

Freed Lockerbie Bomber Proclaims His Innocence, Victims’ Families Outraged
Before September 11th, the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988 was the symbol of terrorist savagery…270 died, many of them Americans. Thursday, a man convicted in the attack is on his way home to Libya, after serving just eight years of a life sentence. GA Death Row Inmate’s Execution Delayed
