They’ve kept the plant from going to waste…10 years ago, Augusta hired the company OMI to take over the Augusta Wastewater Treatment Plant…after a series of state violatons. But, the company’s contract expires in December and next week, Commissioners will vote on putting the contract out for bid. This means another company, or even the city, could take over the plant.

Arthur Blank, who once gave Vick a $130 million contract, said at the NFL owners’ meeting in South Florida that the suspended quarterback is taking positive steps by wanting to work with humane societies and making other changes in his life.
