The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing woman. Jessica Proctor, 20, (aka Misty) was last seen leaving her Martinez, Georgia residence on October 31st in an unknown vehicle with a female known only as Janice.

UPDATED: Babysitter Charged In Baby’s Death
A Columbia County babysitter is charged with killing the baby she was supposed to be watching. Lawanda Concettes Tripp, 39, has been arrested, charged with the murder of 22-month-old Tearia Michele Hall. It happened on Avery Landing Drive…just off Belair Road. According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on September 23rd, at the Circle K located at 457 Old Evans Road, in Martinez. The suspect is identified as 19-year-old Brandon Dion Jones.

UPDATED: Columbia County Sex Offender Arrested
Richmond County Sheriff’s Office received information that an absconded sex offender was living in downtown Augusta. Vandus Derrell Robinson, 32, was convicted in Georgia in 1996 of sexual assault. Robinson is an absconder from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. UPDATE: According to Captain Steve Morris, of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Robinson turned himself in on Friday.

Columbia County Mother Kills Son then Herself in Apparent Murder-Suicide
Columbia County investigators are looking into an apparent murder-suicide. Investigators say a mother shot and killed her son before turning the gun on herself.
