Augusta State Men’s Basketball Team Begins Practice

For the past five season, Dip Metress has been the face of Augusta State basketball and during this time, the Jaguars have enjoyed not one…but two trips to the division II Final Four. Georgia Tech’s Miller Recovering From Concussion

Georgia Tech point guard Moe Miller continues to suffer the effects of a concussion he suffered in a car wreck last month. Coach Paul Hewitt says Miller told him that he felt “off-balance” while practicing “a little bit” on Monday. Hewitt says Miller hit his head on a side window in the accident and suffered his third concussion in 10 months.

University of Georgia basketball signee Daniel Miller has requested ­ and the Athletic Association has granted ­ a release from the National Letter-of-Intent that he signed last November to attend UGA, according to an announcement today by head coach Mark Fox.
