UPDATED: Partial Garage Collapse In Alpharetta, GA
Authorities in Alpharetta say at least part of a parking deck at a medical facility has collapsed. Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon said the collapse happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. He said there were no initial reports of injuries or fatalities.

Last Of Cars Pulled From Collapsed Atlanta Parking Deck
The last of the vehicles have been removed from the collapsed parking deck in midtown Atlanta. Harry Conley, president and CEO of Fifth Street Management Company, says nearly 700 cars have been taken from the Centergy deck, with 45 of those determined damaged and unusable. Conley says a few of the cars have not been claimed yet.
No Injuries, Deaths Found Among Atlanta Parking Deck Rubble
There is some relief for crews who are searching through the rubble of a midtown Atlanta parking deck that collapsed. The parking deck fell on Monday, around lunchtime….and after days of searching, they are almost certain noone’s been trapped inside. The parking deck’s owner tells an Atlanta TV station that the collapse was caused by a support beam falling from place.

Crews Recover 3 Bodies From NC Slim Jim Plant
Authorities say they have found a third body inside a Slim Jim factory in North Carolina a day after an explosion wrecked the building. Garner Police Sgt. Chris Clayton said crews found the remains of a missing worker Wednesday morning. He said teams were preparing to enter the facility through the roof as part of recovery efforts.

Vets Blame Toxin In 21 Polo Horse Deaths In Florida
The sudden death of 21 polo horses at a championship event in Florida may have been caused by a toxin in the animals’ feed, vitamins or supplements, veterinarians said Monday. The horses from the Venezuelan-owned team Lechuza Caracas became ill just before a tournament match Sunday, collapsing and dying on the scene or while being treated at vet clinics or transported, officials said.

Doctors Say Fatigue Caused Sen. Ted Kennedy’s Seizure
Doctors are blaming fatigue for the seizure that Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, ill with a brain tumor, suffered during a post-inauguration luncheon for President Barack Obama.
