Former Denmark-Olar High School Football Coach Arrested

According to a release from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Andrae Odell Rice, 32, the former head football coach at Denmark-Olar High School has been arrested on charges stemming from alleged Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child.

Kentucky Mother Upset By Football Player Son’s Baptism

A Kentucky woman says her 16-year-old son was baptized without her consent when he and fellow football players were taken to a Baptist revival by their coach. Michelle Ammons says she is upset that the school’s superintendent even attended the service last month at a church where the superintendent and coach are members.

Ole Miss Basketball Coach Makes Plea Deal In Ohio

Mississippi basketball coach Andy Kennedy has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct in his cab driver assault case. Kennedy avoided trial and possible jail time with the plea deal Monday in Hamilton County Municipal Court in Cincinnati. He will be on probation for six months and must perform 40 hours of community service.
