President Obama Decries Big Pay For Bailed-Out Executives
President Barack Obama says Americans’ values are offended by excessive paychecks for executives whose companies were bailed out by taxpayers. Speaking at the White House on Thursday, Obama praised the Treasury Department’s decision to order seven big companies that haven’t paid back last year’s government bailouts to halve their top executives’ average compensation.

The owner of Augusta Dodge says it’s been a great 12 years for him, and his heart goes out to all his employees and customers. Greg Helfrich says he has no hard feelings about Chrysler cutting ties with Augusta Dodge. He believes his facility location, and the volume of used cars they sold versus new cars, was a factor for losing ties with Chrysler. And, he says he offered to pay to relocate as many of his employees as are willing to work for him, in Texas.

UPDATED: CSRA Dealerships Among 1,100 That May Have GM Franchises Terminated
Another blow hits the auto industry…to the auto industry. General Motors is cutting more than 1,100 dealerships across the country…here at home, at least one casualty. The manager at Henna Chevrolet says he got one of those dreaded letters Friday…Henna is located on Richland Avenue, in Aiken. Johnson Motor Company has confirmed getting notification regarding their Aiken location. their Augusta location did not receive notification. This bad news comes just one day after hundreds of dealers learned they’re loosing the Chrysler brand. ABC News’ Linsey Davis has more on the big story.
