UPDATED: Third Suspect Arrested In T&S Drive Murder In Aiken County
Aiken County Investigators are searching for two men. They say Maurice Council and Akia Jordan shot and killed a teenager at T&S Mobile Home Park Wednesday night. It’s the third murder there in the last two years. Neighbors want more of a police presence in the area, but police say without community cooperation, everyone is running out of options. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has more. UPDATE: Sammy Leon Smith, 33, has now been arrested in connection to the death of 16-year-old James Collins.

According to Capt. Troy Elwell, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking 10 individuals wanted for Family Court Bench Warrants all the individuals are at least $25,000 behind in child support.

Greg’s Gas Plus Robbery Suspects Sought In Aiken County
According to Capt. Troy Elwell, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Greg’s Gas Plus convenience store, located at 106 Bettis Academy Road, in Graniteville, for an armed robbery. The clerk stated that two individuals came inside, pointed a black handgun at her and demanded money from the register.

According to Capt. Troy Elwell, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has released its latest weekly Most Wanted list. ACSO is currently seeking 11 individuals wanted for Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill & Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.

UPDATED: Beech Island Bank Robbery Suspects Sought
WJBF News Channel 6 has received reports of a bank robbery in Beech Island, SC. We are told that the First Citizens Bank on 2020 Atomic Road was robbed, Monday morning. We have no other details at this time. We will provide more information as it becomes available. UPDATE: The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office has sent us updated information and surveillance images of the suspects.
Aiken County Murder Suspect Arrested
According to Capt. Troy Elwell, Akia Jordan, 17, of Ridgecrest Road, in Aiken, surrendered to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday. Jordan has been charged with Murder, Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill, Simple Assault and Battery and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime. the charges stem from the shooting death of 16-year-old James Collins on T&S Drive, last week.

UPDATED: Clearwater Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
WJBF News Channel 6 has just learned there has been a bank robbery at the Regions Bank branch, in Clearwater, SC. A suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money, and officials are searching for him. UPDATE: We now have a release from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. UPDATE: Danny Lee Gant was arrested in Richmond County on Tuesday, August 11th, and extradicted to Aiken County on Thursday.

UPDATED: Suspect Arrested In Aiken Robbery Of Woman And Baby
A young Aiken, SC mother is robbed at gunpoint in her front yard with her baby in her arms. WJBF News Channel 6’s Paige Tucker reports. UPDATE: There have now been warrants issued for the arrest of Tequan Martrell Holmes, 19, of the 200 block of Snipes Pond Road, in Aiken. UPDATE: Holmes has now been arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

Aiken County Murder Suspect Walks Out…Comes Back to MCG
An Aiken County murder suspect, who walked out of a hospital, Sunday night, walked back in…early Tuesday morning. Investigators say Terrance Riley was recovering at MCG after being shot during a home invasion. He left, and now he’s back…and this time, he’s guarded. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has the story.

The search for a missing murder suspect is over. Authorities say 40-year-old Terrance Riley returned to the Medical College of Georgia hospital around 2:00 a.m., Tuesday morning.

UPDATED: Suspect In Deadly SC Home Invasion Escapes Hospital
The search for a suspect in a murder case continues. The suspect reportedly used a cigarette break to make a break for freedom. It started with a home invasion in Ridge Spring, South Carolina last week. Investigators say 40-year-old Terrance Riley is one of four men involved in the death of Jerry Tyler. Tyler was killed during the home invasion, and investigators say one of the other suspects accidentally shot Riley. And, ever since the invasion, Riley has been in the hospital, until this weekend. That’s where WJBF News channel 6’s Barclay Bishop picks up the story.
