Minnesota Teen Cancer Patient Back Home, Faces Court Date

A 13-year-old cancer patient and his mother who spent a week on the run to avoid forced chemotherapy faced a court hearing Tuesday to determine the boy’s medical fate. Daniel Hauser and his mother, Colleen, arrived back in Minnesota on a chartered jet early Monday after sparking a nationwide search.

Officials Still Searching For Mother, 13-Year-Old Son With Cancer

Law enforcement officers are still concentrating on southern California and Mexico in their search for a Minnesota woman and her 13-year-old son…both on the run from court-ordered cancer treatment for the boy. The Brown County Sheriff’s Department has reported no new information, as of Saturday night.

Arrest Ordered For Mom Of Missouri Boy Resisting Chemo

A Minnesota judge has issued an arrest warrant for the mother of a 13-year-old boy resisting chemotherapy after the pair missed a court hearing on his welfare. Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg also is ordering that Daniel Hauser be placed in protective custody so he can get proper medical treatment for Hodgkins lymphoma.

Report: Farrah Fawcett Released From LA Hospital

Farrah Fawcett has been released from a Los Angeles hospital after being treated for internal bleeding not directly related to her cancer, People.com reported. The 62-year-old actress, who starred in the “Charlie’s Angels” TV series, was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.

Don Imus In Massachusetts A Day After His Cancer Announcement

Don Imus told listeners Tuesday that he assumes he’ll be fine in his battle with prostate cancer, because that’s what he always thinks. The 68-year-old radio personality bantered with listeners at Boston radio station WTKK-FM during his annual St. Patrick’s Day “Kiss Me, I’m Imus” show, the day after announcing he has cancer.
