A Grovetown neighborhood is on watch, after a woman is brutally attacked. It happened on Hot Springs Road, in the Orchard Hill subdivision, near Columbia Road. WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has the details.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on the lookout for a break-in suspect who attacked a woman in her home after she returned from taking her kids to school. The break-in and attack occurred in the Orchard Hill subdivision, off of Columbia Road, on Hot Springs Court, around 9:00 a.m., Wednesday morning.

Knoxville police say a man who jumped to his death from a highway overpass was from northwestern Georgia. Capt. Gary Holliday said Friday the man was 23-year-old Dustin Lamar Henry of Acworth, Ga.

Careful where you step after a snow storm. The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported that officers in South Carolina followed footprints in the snow early Monday morning and arrested a man after a reported burglary. The trail led from a broken window at a discount store to a nearby abandoned home.
