UPDATED: Second Suspect Arrested In Richmond County Home Invasion
According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a home invasion suspect. Ahijah Murray, 19, has been charged with one count each of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary and Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle. Murray is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail. UPDATE: Jonathan Cornelius Glenn, 28, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to the home invasion.

UPDATED: Edgefield County Burglary Suspect Arrested
The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection to a burglary, earlier this week on Sunset Circle, in Merriwether, SC. Richard Glenn Hester, 49, is being sought on charges of burglary in the second degree and grand larceny in connection to the case. His last known address was on the 200 block of Flores Lane, in Martinez, GA. UPDATE: Hester has turned himself into authorities

CAUGHT ON TAPE: Broad Street Gas Station Burglarized
According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report, someone threw a large rock through the front window of Bodie Shell Station, located on 13th Street, in Augusta. The burglar got away with about $1,300 worth of cigarettes and cigars.
Aiken County Man Sought For Burglary
According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office holds warrants for the arrest of an Aiken County man, who committed Burglary, Grand Larceny, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle within Aiken County. The suspect is identified as 26-year-old Marquis E. Cummings.

Tubman Middle School Burglarized
Richmond County deputies are investigating an apparent burglary at Tubman Middle School, after an alarm alerted them shortly before 3:00 a.m., on Wednesday morning. Deputies say the suspects ran, but a 17-year-old was arrested. They are searching for the other suspect.
