Former Strom Thurmond football star Jakar Hamilton announced on Saturday that he’ll play his college football at Georgia.

Georgia junior first baseman Rich Poythress (Greenbrier HS/Grovetown, GA) was selected in the second round by the Seattle Mariners with the 51st overall pick in the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday.
