South Carolina guard Devan Downey has been named to the Southeastern Conference coaches first team while Brandis Raley-Ross has been named the league’s Sixth Man of the Year. The postseason award voting of SEC coaches was announced Tuesday.

South Carolina guard Brandis Raley-Ross will miss three-to-four weeks with a left knee sprain. Gamecocks coach Darrin Horn announced Raley-Ross’ condition on Saturday, a day after the player fell hard to the court near halftime of South Carolina’s 89-76 victory over Jacksonville State.
